The 150-year-old stone farmhouse has its own cozy living space with original stone features and a wood-burning fireplace. A rustic farmhouse kitchen, where meals can be prepared slowly and enjoyed outdoors beneath the shade of an old lime tree, or in the warmth of the sun.
The house offers two comfortable bedrooms with king-size beds — one with a soft wooden chalet feel, and the other with clean, simple walls and an adjoining bathroom. You’ll find everything you need for a comfortable and easy stay. The 60cm thick stone walls keep the nights cool and the house pleasant even on the warmest days.
You have a private entrance and your own garden just opposite the front door of the gîte — a space to sit, dine, or simply relax. There is also a garden on the east side which is shared and open to all guests.
We stay just next to the house, so you may hear us occasionally, but the space remains calm and peaceful.
We are just 5 minutes from the nearest supermarket and bakery. The nearby village of Pionsat is home to the Château de Pionsat, a historic 15th-century castle, and carries the quiet rhythm of village life.
